Obituary of An Amazing Mother, Sister and Woman of God
Deborah Walker was born on October 10, 1957 to Earnest Young and Frances Wilson in Shreveport, Louisiana. Both of her parents preceded her death. Deborah and Dewight Walker were married for over 30 years.
She dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized July 12, 2025. She enjoyed teaching others bible truths. She loved Jehovah and his son Christ Jesus. Deborah was a faithful witness to the end.
Deborah was always independent and her work gave her purpose. She worked for the State of Louisiana for many years at the Health Unit and retired in 2024 as a Medicaid Eligibility Specialist. Her joy in life was spending time with her family, her daughters, her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Left to honor her memories are her loving husband; Dwight Walker, her precious daughters: Alisia Wilson and Tiffany Smith, her loving sister Jacqueline Lias and wonderful brothers Earnest Wilson and Alvin Gardner. She further leaves to cherish her memories: 7 grandchildren; Labroderick Gandy, Marlicia Wilson, D’marlo Mack, Zoe Smith, Gregory Smith III, Gavin Smith and Gage Smith and 3 great grandchildren; Tristen Johnson, Trinity Johnson and Messiah Singleton.
She will forever be ingrained in our hearts.
