Debra Wiser Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 4, 2025.
Debra Lynn Wiser, lovingly known to many as "Booger Ann," passed away peacefully on August 3, 2025, in her hometown of Bradfordsville, KY. Born on February 26, 1957, she graced this world with her vibrant spirit for 68 wonderful years.

Debra was a beacon of joy and laughter, known for her infectious humor and her ability to light up any room with her jokes. Her love for cooking was legendary; she delighted in preparing meals that brought people together, nourishing both body and soul. A true card shark at heart, Debra loved playing cards and shared countless hours of fun and camaraderie with friends and family around the card table.

Her career as a waitress was more than just a job; it was an extension of her generous nature. She served not only food but also warmth and kindness, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. Debra's genuine love for people made her a beloved figure in her community, where she was known and cherished by all.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Alma Jean Wright Wiser, her brothers Johnny, Rocky, and Willie Wiser, and the love of her life, Garland Lane. Her legacy of love and laughter lives on through her daughters, Carrie Lane (Jennifer) and Amanda Lane (Jamal), and her cherished grandson, Tristan Coy Lane. She is also survived by her brothers Robert Ray Wiser and Jeff (Head) Wiser, her half-brothers Sam and Billy Wiser of Edinburg, Indiana, her sisters Faye Carol Cochran, Brenda Wiser, Linda Raley, and Betsy Taylor, and her half-sisters Marilyn Lawler and Debbie Buck, both of Edinburg, Indiana.

Debra's life was a testament to the power of love, laughter, and community. Her memory will continue to inspire those who knew her to live with joy and kindness, just as she did.

Although I am deeply saddened by the passing of "Boogs" I will always remember her wonderful sense of humor and her kind heart. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
