Wesley Wiser Obituary
He was born on September 15, 1940 to Edwin and Viola (Barker) Wiser in Cowanshannock Twp., PA.
Wesley retired from the United States Navy after serving his country during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Salem United Church of Christ.
He liked working with his hands whether it be woodcarving, welding or fabricating. Wesley enjoyed anything on the water especially fishing and boating. He loved talking to people. Wesley will be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Wesley is survived by his wife, Shirley (Reams) Wiser whom he wed February 8, 1963; son, Paul D. Wiser and wife, Shannon of Butler and grandchildren, Shealyn and Carter Wiser and Ella Moretti.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Glenda Schrecengost and Elva Odosso.
Funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc., Rural Valley.
Burial will take place in the Salem (Hills) United Church of Christ Cemetery.
