Debra Jean Wright, age 65, of Cumming, GA., passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Debra was the rock, glue and protector of her family. She was an awesome cook and always worrying about others beside herself. She was loved by her family and especially by her grandchildren. Debra was preceded in death by her Parents, Billy and Irene Charles; her brother, Wayne Charles; her sisters, Kathy Jones and Joyce Pruitt; her granddaughter, Emma Wright.
Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Donald Wright; her children, Missie (Alan) Still, Michael (Teann) Peak, Donald (Angela) Wright III, Michael (Trish) Wright, Kristi (Lee) Nunn; grandchildren, Abbie (Claude) Dobbs and their daughter, Dolly, Emily (C.J. Hudson) Peak, Kelsey Peak, Emily (Yovani) Xivir and their children, Ella and Ben, Katie Still and her son, Koul; mother in law, Mardell Hogan.
Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Pruitt and Rev. Alan Still officiating.
Interment will be at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
