Debrah Kaye Baker Irvine, age 64, of Science Hill, passed away Friday March 29, 2024, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset.

Debbie was born May 4, 1959, in Monticello, KY to Mitchell and Emma Jean [Dodson] Baker. As a child she attended Cedar Hill Baptist Church where she accepted Christ and was baptized. Debbie married the love of her life, David Dale Irvine on July 29, 1979. From this 34-year marriage a beautiful family was created that included a son, David W. Irvine, a daughter, Jennifer E. Irvine, a granddaughter Katelyn LeAnn, and a soon-to-be welcomed great granddaughter, Emma Grace. She was a homemaker and farmer for over 40 years in the Science Hill community and was a faithful member of the Kingbee Baptist Church.

Anyone who knew Debbie can testify to her faith, her love for the LORD, to her incredible talents, and to her unwavering love and dedication to her family and loved ones. She enjoyed exploring nature, wading and fishing in the creek, going for long walks, sewing, quilting, and embroidery. Her happiest days were spent in the company of her family and friends gathered in her home or beneath the shade tree in her parents' yard.
Debbie is preceded in death by her beloved husband David Irvine, her parents Mitchell and Emma Jean Baker, her maternal grandparents Lewis and Gertrude [Dick] Dodson, her paternal grandparents Melvin and Beatrice Baker, her sister Kathleen Coffey, and her brother Ray Baker.

Debbie is survived by her son David, her daughter Jennifer, her granddaughter Katelyn, and many nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones to mourn her passing.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday April 2, 2024, at the Morris and Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill with Brother Darry Hatfield officiating.

The family will receive friends and loved ones on Tuesday morning from 10am to 1pm at the funeral home chapel.

Burial will follow at the Vaught Ridge Cemetery.
