Dee Angulo

Dee (Mayorga) Angulo, age 82, of Lynn, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at her home after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Honduras, the daughter of the late Ernesto Mayorga and Herminia Pinto. She came to the United States in 1967, living in Washington DC, San Diego, and New Orleans before settling in Massachusetts.
Dee worked in data entry at Iron Mountain in Dorchester until her retirement. She was an active and beloved member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Chelsea, Sommerville, Lynn and Lynnfield since its early days. Dee loved the embrace of her church community and was also a caring neighbor. She loved spending her time gardening and admiring nature. Dee also had a passion for animals, playing basketball, taking long walks and spending time at the beach. Dee will be remembered as a matriarch in her family and as a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her daughter, Berta Gomera and her husband Pastor, two grandchildren; Ilka Arias and her husband Tony, and Amelia Gomera; her sister, Natalie Pinto; her brother, Reynaldo Mayorga; as well as her extended family; the Pinto family, the Galindo family, the Jose family, the Argueta family and the Gomera family.
Her funeral service will be held on Friday July 18th at 7pm at the Revelation Lynnfield Seventh- day Adventist Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970.
