Dee Anne Barnes-Parker, 62, of Benton Arkansas passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, September 16, 2023. She was born Thursday, November 24, 1960, in Russellville Arkansas to Donald and Marilyn Barnes. Dee loved trips to the ocean, dolphins, and cruises but most of all she loved her family being together. Her grandchildren and great grandchild were the light of her life, along with many adopted children and grandchildren that called her momma Dee or nana Dee. Dee Anne has spent the last 14 years mourning the loss of her son, Shane, but we all find comfort in knowing they are together again, along with the ones that have gone before her. After a rough patch in her life, Dee and the love of her life, Tony, rekindled and spent the last eight years enjoying each other's company.
She was proceeded in death by her loving parents; Donald & Marilyn Barnes and her son; Shane Mathis. She is survived by the love of her life, Tony Parker; Three sons, Anthony Parker (Jessica), Adam Parker (Traci) and Jason Parker; Step-Son, Cody Lockert; Daughter-in-law, Taylor Mathis; Thirteen grandchildren, Fallon, Lyndee, Lillie, Leighlyn, Zane, Avyn, Austin, Bobby, Sydnee, Aubrey, MacKenzie, Holden and Everleigh; One great grandchild, Zeppelin; Three sisters, Dana Smith (Randy), Darla Tiner (Nathan) and Donna Bradley (Bill); Two Uncles, Gary McLehaney and Phillip Hattabaugh; Three Aunts.
