Dee Kossoff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Epstein Memorial Chapel - Columbus on Nov. 11, 2024.
Delinda "Dee" Pyles Kossoff was a loving mother, wife, daughter, and friend. She left this world suddenly on November 5, 2024.
She was born to Sandy and Carl Pyles on September 3, 1967. She met the love of her life, Andrew, at New Albany Country Club, where she was the Director of Merchandising for many years, elevating the Pro Shop and Resort Shop to new levels of excellence. They married on May 9, 1998.
Her greatest joy was her daughter Sophie, born February 26, 2007, who she raised in her likeness to be strong, independent, kind, helpful, and devoted.
As Sophie said, "To know my mom was to love her." Dee was tiny but mighty. She was quiet but loved to laugh and have fun. She was a caretaker, a planner, the best-dressed in any room, and could whip up a 5-star feast in a heartbeat. Her hugs could cure all ills. She was fiercely loyal and protective, and quick to offer support and comfort to her friends and family, seemingly knowing when they needed it the most. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her.
She was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Dale and Inez Fowler, and Raymond and Margaret Pyles, and is survived by her devoted husband, Andrew Kossoff of Bexley, OH; her beloved daughter, Sophie Marin Ann Kossoff; her loving parents, Sandy and Carl Pyles of Newark, OH; and her loving Aunt and Uncle, Bennie and Tom Trubiana, Deb and Jerry Coleman, Ray and Norita Pyles, as well as many dear family members and friends.
A private service was held on November 9, 2024 at Epstein Memorial Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider making a donation in support of Dee's passion for animals to GIGI'S, at www.gigis.org.
We invite you to share your cherished memories, stories, and photos of Dee on her memorial page.
