I heard the voice of Del Delker all of my childhood years beginning in New York and she influenced my singing until today, now 78.
I met her at a MA Campmeeting where we spoke and took pictures. It was a dream fulfilled to know her. Her music and presence then, reminded me of that great getting up Morning when God’s children will be together Praising the Lord in song. I especially loved one of her first songs Oh Love of God. And so many more.
Her music influenced me greatly and it continues until today when I’m still singing Praises to Him! I Will see you in the morning Del. Thank you.

She was a very friendly and smiling person who when possible shared Jesus the love of Jesus with everyone despite her later health problems which stood between her, and her desire to keep singing and preach

I was in the hospital with MRSA staph pneumonia in both lungs. I had to fight for each breath. I thought I was dying. Then I had an auditory "vision" and I heard Del Delker singing "The Night Watch" and I knew I would live and I went to sleep. I obviously I did live! John L. Odom.

I am from South America and I grew up hearing her beautiful voice and precious himnos. Mis padres la escuchaban todo el tiempo. Dios la bendijo con una hermoza voz que la uso para su honra y gloria. She will always be missed.

When I walked into Mom's nursing home room as she was dying, Del Delker was singing on the tape by the side of her bed. The nurses knew just the right music for Mom's last few minutes. Del and I were close friends in Southern California for a few months -- mostly on the phone. I heard her sing in Oakland, California for the first time as I was standing on the stage waiting to play the piano for another musician. "I'd Rather Have Jesus."-- I'll never forget. She had a way of drawing you to the Lord when she talked to you. Years later, in General Conference in Detroit, as she descended on the escalator, she spotted me about half way down, and shouted, "JOY". What a memory!

Your music alone touched me more than any sermon I ever heard. Your death has given me hope and I so need that and my desire is to be with Jesus and meet you. Your music has so touched my heart.

Del, my mother Ruth Wilcox Punches Blackman knew you when she worked at the Voice of Prophecy in the 1940s and 50s; she always spoke lovingly of those days. The Kings Heralds and HMS Richards' message remained so dear to her throughout her life. Your beautiful voice and your commitment to that message will always be cherished. Rest in peace.

I was so blessed by your music since the 1960's, and was drawn closer to Jesus and heaven everytime you sang. I will meet you in the Morning!
