Mr. Delarwn Lavoris Myers, the son of Deborah Berry and Nicholas Myers was born December 17, 1979, in Florence, South Carolina. He transitioned this life on Wednesday, December 20, 2023.

Delarwn, better known to some as “Elmo,” lived a fulfilling life in his younger years. He enjoyed many sports activities, with baseball and football being his favorites. Delarwn attended Florence District One Schools and was a graduate of Wilson High School in Florence, South Carolina. He later received an HVAC degree from Florence Darlington Technical College in Darlington, South Carolina and was co-owner of Myers Professional Landscaping, LLC.

Delarwn was a loving son, father, grandfather, nephew, cousin, and friend with a great personality who loved life, laughter, and fun. He could find humor in everything among his family and friends.

Delarwn was deeply loved and will be missed dearly by everyone who was a part of his life. To know him was to love him. He was a very pure, outspoken soul that will remain in our hearts forever. He had a big impact on his community, always looking out for others and helping those he could.

Delarwn is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and grandmother, Willie and Mary Henry; paternal grandmother, Luberta Myers; two aunts, Francina Swinton and Virginia Myers-Wynn; one niece, Amerie Grant; and his stepfather, Joe Berry, Sr. Delarwn memories are cherished by his daughter, Khadijah Myers; a granddaughter, Kha’Liyah Myers; his mother, Deborah Berry; his father, Nicholas (Joan) Myers; three sisters, Lorraine Henry, Idona (Bryon) Johnson, and Cherrelle Mace; three aunts, Carolyn Johnson, Isabella Cooper, and Willamae Mouzon; one uncle, Wardell Henry; two great aunts, Mildred Williams and Coralee Samuel; two nieces, Nasshia Henry (special niece) and Tiverly Gray; two nephews, Jeremy Gray and Xymir Brown; and with much love, a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
