Delbert Price was born May 9, 1945 in Brownsboro, Texas. He had been a resident of Ben Wheeler all of his life, owning Price Nursery for many years. He was a simple man who loved animals.
Delbert passed away at the age of 78 on August 10, 2023 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie P. Price and Maudie Wyatt Price and seven siblings, Walter, Cecil, Clyde, Noah, Trammell, Betty, and Hazel.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Larry & Teresa Price of Ben Wheeler; brother, Arthur Price of Athens; grandchildren, Bridget Price and Justin Price, both of Ben Wheeler; and six great-grandchildren, Brantlee, Cole, Bandy, Jodee, Jessie, and Jerry Ely.

I´m positively sick over this news. He was an absolutely wonderful man. My dad and Delbert were friends their whole lives & I was lucky enough to get to know him about 15 years ago when I helped him with some bookkeeping. We would sit for HOURS and he would tell me stories. He will be truly missed.
