Delia Puente Obituary
Delia Cantu Puente, a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on June 14, 2024, in Natalia, Texas. She was born on May 22, 1951, in San Antonio, Texas.
Delia's life was filled with a love for music and dance, which she often indulged in during her free time. Her vivacious spirit and passion for dancing brought joy to those around her. She was a dedicated Administrative Assistant for over 30 years, retiring from University Health System.
She is survived by her loving family members: daughters Sonia Samora, Sandra Meza (Michael), Stephanie Solis; grandchildren: Kyle Samora (Krista), Matthew Samora, Melanie Meza, Ryan Meza (Caitlin), Carlie Meza, Aaron Garcia, Eric Garcia, Mia Sanchez, Ava Sanchez; great-grandchildren: Amanda Meza, Marcus Meza, Alaina Grace Martinez, Ayden Samora, Camila Samora, Amara Samora. Delia is also survived by her siblings, brothers: Manuel Cantu Jr. (Paula), Jesse Cantu, Arthur Cantu; sisters: Diana Garcia (Joe), Mary Rodriguez (Roger); along with numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Elisa R. Cantu, and her sister Gloria Garcia.
Delia's dedication to her family and kind nature touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for her warmth and generosity towards everyone she met.
May she rest in peace as her memory continues to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Services to be announced at a later date.
