Delilah was born on December 1, 1944 in West Monroe, LA and passed away on March 18, 2022 in West Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Odie Mae and William Hilbert; and her infant daughter, Melody Ann Knighten.
Deliah is survived by her husband, Robert Dupree; children, Allen Knighten, Lanny Knighten and his wife Michelle, Lenny Knighten and his wife Donna, and Darrell Knighten and his wife Connie; grandchildren, Austin, Samantha, Kaylyn, Luke, Cody, Shelby, Dexton, Chasity, Devin, and Dalton; seven great-grandchildren; sister, Glenda Truelove; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Deliah liked to have a good time and enjoyed good company. She loved having family and friends over for yearly crawfish boils and pool parties. The family would like to thank her special friend and hairdresser Ms. Linda, as well as Dr. Banks and staff, especially his nurse.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dexton Knighten, Devin Knighten, Dalton Knighten, Luke Hill, Cody Joe Knighten, and Austin Knighten.
