Della Booth Obituary
Della M. Booth, a resident of Porterville for 55 years, went home to be with Jesus on Saturday January 24, 2026 at the age of 83.
She was born Della M. Speaks in Emporia Kansas on July 13, 1942.
She moved to Fresno, Ca. in 1958 where she later met her husband Mel. They were married in August of 1962.
They relocated to the Bay area in 1963 where she worked as a corsetier at Montgomery Ward until moving to Lindsay in 1970, and then to Porterville in 1977.
She is survived by her husband Mel of 63 years, two sons, Anthony (Catherine) of Hermiston, Or. and Robert (Tami) of Spanish Fort, Al., 3 grandchildren, Robert Jr. of Tucson Az. Tessa Cole of Spanish Fort, Al., and Taylor Hill of Spanish Fort, Al., 6 great grandchildren, Keely and Madaline of Tucson, Az., Kyrie, Jolie, Alaina, and Emmery, all of Spanish Fort, AL., she is also survived by her brother David Speaks of Anchorage,Ak., and her beloved fur baby Zoey.
Her service will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, Febuary 2, 2026 at Believers Church at 222 N. 2nd Street in Porterville.
Condolences for the family can be sent to Believers Church.
She was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker and will be dearly missed by all.
