Della Gaines Obituary
Born November 15, 1951 in Lexington to the late George & Iva Vanatta Hulett, she was a former employee of Fayette County Public Schools and a member of Irishtown Baptist Church. Della was a dedicated wife and mother, and truly devoted to her family.
Additional survivors include a son, Ora Ray (Shamika) Gaines; 2 brothers, James Edward Hulett & Wm. Luther "Ricky" Hulett; and 3 sisters: Theresa (Tommy) Workman, Hazel Lambert & Phyllis Hulett, along with several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death are 3 sisters: Betty Garrett, Karen Southwell Rice & Rebecca Rankin; and a special nephew, James Bradley Hulett.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 4th at Great Crossing Funeral & Cremation by Rev. Jeff Gaines with burial to follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Friends and family will serve as casketbearers.
Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Tuesday.
