A native of Lafayette, Louisianna, she is the daughter of the late Rex Joseph Sr. and Angella' Bergeron Angelle. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lewis, brother, Rex Angelle II, and sisters, Michelle "Mickey" Angelle and Mary Angelle.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Daves-Culbertson Funeral Home in Tullahoma, Tennessee with Brother Jeff Young officiating. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
A lover of her beautiful daughters and grandchildren, a lover of trucks, casinos and birds. She enjoyed watching crime shows on TV and used to love to read romance novels. Quite some time back she had a horse that she truly loved and she also enjoyed sightseeing. And of course we can't forget her goldfish, Spot. Della loved with all of her heart, and she will never be forgotten for her love and laughter.
Her survivors include her daughters, Tara Benoit of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Jamie McGinn of Tullahoma, Tennessee, Dana Lewis of Manchester, Tennessee, and Shauna Lewis and spouse of Tullahoma, Tennessee, brother, Herb "Pie" Angelle of Breaux Bridge, Louisianna, eleven grandchildren, Ashley, Christopher, Stephen, Christian, Justice, Jaydon, Kira, Akio, Orien, Drew and Lydia, and five great grandchildren, Blade, Holland, Gabriel, Kinnzleigh and Everleigh.
