Bellefonte, Pennsylvania - Delores E. Ishler, 80, of Bellefonte, passed away on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born on October 14, 1942, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Pearl (Emel) Wolfe. She was married to David Keith Ishler, who preceded her in death on June 4, 2011, after sharing 47 years of marriage together.

Delores was a 1961 graduate of Bellefonte High School. She worked as a hairdresser and was the owner of Delores' Hair Styling Salon for 40 years until her retirement.

She is survived by her two sons, Michael David Ishler (Sally) of Bellefonte, and Brian Keith Ishler (Tina) of Spring Mills, two grandchildren, Amber and Jackie Ishler, and eight great grandchildren, Brycen, Ava, Audree, Alana, Brody, Prometeus, Curtis, and Damyan. Also surviving is a sister, Janet Henry of Lime Springs, Iowa, and a sister-in-law, Naomi Wolfe of Runville.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Bob Wolfe, and a sister, Betty Wolfe.

Delores was an avid animal lover, and her beloved dog, Max, was never far from her side. She also enjoyed playing Bingo while she was a resident of Centre Care.

A public viewing will be held on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, October 16, 2023, at 11:00 AM, at the funeral home, with Pastor John Snare officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Centre County Memorial Park in State College.
