Delores M. Leeper, 93, of Shelbyville passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Willows of Shelbyville.
Born on August 11, 1932 in Lawrence, Indiana she was the daughter of Billie Davis and Dorothy (Wilson) Davis.
She married Robert Leeper on June 17, 1952 and he preceded her in death in 2012.
Survivors include 3 children- Becky Clements (Leo) of Morristown, Tim Leeper of Shelbyville, Carolyn Hood
(Brian) of Shelbyville; half sister Vicki Bingham (Max) of Danville; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, spouse, brother Robert Davis and sister Betty Zang.
Delores had lived in this area for 60 years after previously moving from Indianapolis. She was a homemaker
and graduated from Lawrence Central High School. She worked for Cagney's for 20 plus years. Delores loved
her cats, dancing, and spending time with her friends and family.
Funeral services will be 5:00pm, Monday, October 6, 2025 at Glenn E. George & Son Funeral Home, 437
Amos Road. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 3:00pm
until the time of the service, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to Shelbyville/Shelby Co. Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
