Delores Ann Bratcher Peck

PRESCOTT, Ariz. - Delores Ann Bratcher Peck, 86, former resident of Paducah, passed away peacefully in Prescott, Arizona, on March 22, 2024. She was a devout Christian blessed with a servant's heart. She loved teaching the Ladies Bible Study group while a member of Bethel Baptist Church. She loved her family with all her heart and was affectionately known as "Mimi" to all her grandchildren.

She fulfilled her high school senior ambition to marry an architect when she wed Gary Peck on March 10, 1956. They were married 52 wonderful years, until his death on Jan. 11, 2008.

Delores successfully completed an executive secretary certification at Draughon's Business College and, after raising her family, she went on to have a successful career as an executive assistant in the Paducah City School District.

Delores is survived by two sons, Lyndon Peck of Las Vegas, Nevada, and Clayton Peck of Prescott, Arizona; three sisters, Brenda Hancock of Paducah, Karon Zimmerman of Clarksville, Tennessee, and Sharon McGee of Georgetown, Kentucky; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gary E. Peck, daughter, Donna Lynn Peck, and parents, Clessie and Alma Bratcher.

Memorial services are being held in Prescott Valley, Arizona on March 29. Prayer services will be held in Paducah on a date and time to be determined.
