In Loving Memory of Delores Sergi

Delores (Dee) Sergi, age 76, of Auburn, New York, was sent to her external home on January 14, 2026, in the presence of her family and friends. Born in 1948 in Buffalo, New York, Delores was raised in a traditional Italian American household. Her upbringing was marked by strong connections to both immediate and extended family members, characterized by the frequent celebration of holidays, birthdays, weddings, and many other cherished occasions.

Beginning in her teens, Delores joined the workforce and consistently demonstrated an outstanding work ethic. She continued to pursue her education, graduating from Bryant & Stratton College. Throughout this time, she balanced her dedication to work with her commitment to personal growth, embodying perseverance and determination.

Delores held Christmas close to her heart and took special pleasure in collecting Hallmark Christmas lights. Over the years, she built a cherished collection that brought her immense joy during the holiday season. She was a strong-willed and wise individual. She had an unwavering faith in God and was a member of Auburn Alliance Church. She organized trips with family to amusement parks and the beach and thoroughly enjoyed dancing to certain songs at weddings.

Delores is survived by her ex-husband/friend, Joseph; their children, Lisa (Baldwin) and Michelle (Wright); their nine grandchildren, her brother, Anthony, and sister, Marguerite. She also leaves other family members, including cousins, and friends who will sadly miss her.Relatives and friends may visit the Lombardo Funeral Home (Northtowns Chapel) 885 Niagara Falls Blvd. near Eggert/Sheridan Dr. on Thursday (January 22nd) from 3-7 PM. where a Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday (January 23rd) at 10 AM. Entombment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
