Delores Beverly Sollie

DELORES (DEE) SOLLIE of Lakeville, MN drew her last breath on this side of heaven Monday September 23, 2024 at age 89. She was born on August 5, 1935 in Osseo, Minnesota, the eldest of four children. Her family moved to Crystal, MN at an early age, and she attended Robbinsdale schools, then transferred her senior year to Minnehaha Academy, and graduated in 1953. She attended one year at Northwestern College in Roseville, MN. She married John "Ted" Sollie on October 5, 1957, and resided in Edina, MN for over 30 years where they raised their three sons.
From 1958-1973 Dee was a pianist at Salem Evangelical Free Church, Minneapolis, MN. Dee enjoyed baking, and her chocolate chip cookies were given the title of World's Best by her family and friends.
Dee was her three son's biggest sports fan, she rarely missed a game.
Over the years, Dee worked at various physicians' offices, was a supervisor at Signature Flight Support, and worked for United Airlines.
She is preceded in death by parents, Lester and Louise Ziebarth. She is survived by husband, John "Ted"; sons Steve (Jeannie), Gregg (Letha), and David (Leslie); grandchildren, Jonathan (Kylie), Luke (Hannah), Breanna (Charles), Angelica (Pedro), Melissa, Dylan, Isabella (Jamison), Griffin; and eight great-grandchildren. Also survived by siblings, Jerry (Joan) Ziebarth, Carol (Phil) Gunderson, and Lynn Ziebarth.
