Delores M. Wellman age 93 of Dixon passed away on Tuesday Nov. 4, 2025 at her home. She was born on Sept. 10, 1932 in Rochelle, IL the daughter of Walter and Mildred (Justis) Mosimann. Delores worked at the Rochelle Roses, Allied Van Lines, Ramada Inn, and Lee County Nursing Home prior to her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband in their RV. Delores married Howard W. Wellman Jr. on Dec. 26, 1951 in Rochelle, IL. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1990. She is also preceded in death by her daughter Susan C. Leffler, son David M. Wellman, sister Velda Mosimann, and son in law G. Timothy Stiens. Delores is survived by her daughter Diane Stiens, seven grandchildren Jennifer (D.) Schallert, Jamie (Mike) Taylor, Caryn (Coman) Streid, Ashley (Dennis) Wellman-Morris, Kevin (Rose) Stiens, Damian (Greer) Stiens, Charles Stiens, great grandchildren Oliver, Wilhelm, Garren, Aryanna, Logan, Raven, Andreas, and one brother Richard Mosimann. Visitation will be on Saturday Nov. 8, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Funeral services will be on Saturday Nov. 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Burial will follow at Woodside Cemetery in Lee Center, IL. Arrangements by the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Condolences can be left at www.thejonesfh.com.
