Dolores “Ellagene” Wilkerson

Dolores “Ellagene” Wilkerson was born on November 8, 1944, to Raymond and Bonnie Sanders.
Ellagene was a devoted mother and homemaker for many years, dedicating her life to caring for her family. She later retired from the Platte County Courthouse, after which she took on her most treasured role—being a full-time grandmother to her seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sister, Cindy (Shirley) Baker; her sons, Jeffery (Bethanne) Black, Brian (Rebecca) Black and Gary Wilkerson; and her grandchildren, Mitchell (Chelsea) Black, Amanda (Cody) Clements, Austin Wood(Cheryl), Maggie, Emily, Garrett, and Tucker. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren who loved her dearly.
Visitation will be 5-7pm, Thursday, January 15, 2026 at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, 1640 Route 291 Hwy, Liberty, MO 64068
Ellagene was truly the life of the party. She had many friends, a vibrant personality, and a love for traveling. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family, creating memories filled with laughter, warmth, and love.
Her legacy of devotion, joy, and family will be remembered by all who knew her.
