Delores Strange Williams

Delores Strange Williams, age 90 of Dandridge, TN passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at her home. She was the daughter of the late Luther Carl Strange and Daisy Phillips Strange and was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Williams Jr; siblings, Mary Strange Huiting, Warren Strange, Cecil Strange, Martha Strange Loveday, Bernice Strange Hall and Colbert Strange.

Delores is survived by her children Darrell Williams, Carson (Sharon) Williams, and Rhonda Williams Haynes; grandchildren, Brandi Haynes, Mikaela Haynes, Tiffany (Mike) Russell, Shane (Deb) Sheridan, Jonathan Sheridan; great grandchildren, Berlin Sheridan, Sydney Edwards, Parker and Paisley Russell;

Sister, Gladys (Bill) Sellars; sister- in- law Evelyn Sims Strange and several nieces and nephews. Delores was a 1953 graduate of Maury High School and was a long-time employee of Tennessee Handbags. Delores was a faithful member of Swann’s Chapel Baptist Church until the last few years when she went with her son to The Lighthouse, A Place of Hope. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 9, 2025, 7:00pm at Swann’s Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Rick Foust and Rev. Jason McIntosh officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm prior services at the church. Graveside interment will be held on Saturday, 11:00am at Swann’s Chapel Cemetery.
