Deloris Crupper, age 92, was born on May 28, 1933, in Oolagah, Oklahoma. She passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, at the home of her son, Dennis, in Chelsea, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 73 years, Dwight Crupper. Deloris was the last surviving child of Walter and Ruby Maddux, and was also preceded in death by her siblings Betty, Margaret, Doris, and James.
Deloris is survived by her three children: Dennis Crupper (Vickie), Michael Crupper, and Debra Blanton (Robert). She leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Sean Crupper, Shannon Checkle (Adam), Amy Spencer (Benjamin), Gregory Blanton, and Stephen Blanton (Alyssa), as well as four treasured great-grandchildren: Moriah and Selah Spencer, Landon Bell, and Scarlett Blanton.
Deloris had a deep and abiding love for the Lord, and her faith was the foundation of her life. She lived out that faith daily through her kindness, generosity, and genuine care for others. She was loved by all who knew her, but especially by her family. She never met a stranger, and once you were her friend, you were her friend for life. Her legacy of faith and love will continue to live on through all who were blessed to know her.
Memorial contributions to honor Deloris' life may be made to Woodhaven Bible Church or to InHouse Hospice, 30800 Telegraph Rd., Suite 1975, Bingham Farms, MI 48025. InHouse Hospice does not have an online donation program; donations may be mailed directly to them with Deloris' name in the memo.
