Services for Deloris June Fulton, 92, of Ada, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 5, 2025, at Southwest Church of Christ; Mr. Scott Young will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Fulton passed away Sunday, November 30, 2025, in Ada. She was born August 12, 1933, in Ada to Marvin and Bertha Oliver Choate.
Mrs. Fulton, a devoted member of the Latta community and a beloved presence in the lives of countless young students, passed away surrounded by the love of family and friends.
For many years, she served as a kindergarten teacher's assistant at Latta, working side by side with Gayle Morgan. Together, they helped guide, encourage, and nurture generations of children, creating a warm and welcoming start to their educational journeys. Her gentle spirit, patience, and genuine affection for her students made her a cherished figure to both children and parents alike.
A faithful member of Southwest Church of Christ, Mrs. Fulton lived her faith with humility and quiet strength. She was deeply grateful for the relationships and fellowship she found there.
She was also a devoted supporter of Latta basketball, rarely missing a game and always cheering with heartfelt enthusiasm. Her love for the community-and its teams-ran deep and was a vibrant part of her life.
Mrs. Fulton treasured her friendships, especially the special bond she shared with Ann, Sherrill, Fran, and Luella. Their companionship brought her joy, laughter, and comfort through every season of life.
She will be remembered for her kindness, devotion, and steady presence, and her impact will continue to be felt by the many lives she touched.
Survivors include her son, Terry Fulton and wife, Lisa, of Ada; sister, Beverly Young; grandchildren, Hunter Fulton and Fisher Fulton and fiancé, Lance Ludwick; nephews, Scott Young and wife, Sonya, Jerel Choate and wife, Karen, and Randy Allen and wife, April; nieces, Becky Huckeby, Lisa Choate, Shari Todd, Debbie Nichols and husband, Mike; great nieces and nephews, Jacey Thomson and husband, John, Jesse Huckeby, Tyler Young, Tanner Young and wife, Kaycie, Doug Todd and wife, Melanie, and Dean Todd and wife, Verna; many other great nieces and nephews; and longtime family friend, Lynne Elliott Dawson and Reecellee James.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Bertha Choate; husband, Elmo Fulton; sons, Randall Gene Fulton and Ronald Dean Fulton; daughter, Toni Lynn Fulton; brothers, J.W. Choate and Milton "Pete" Choate; and three sisters, Genna Lee Todd, Nancy Belle Allen, and Kathleen "Sally" Wade.
Bearers are Hunter Fulton, Lance Ludwick, Jesse Huckeby, Tanner Young, Nathan Matzkvech, and John Thomson.
Honorary bearers are Bill Blackwell, Jerel Choate, Tyler Young, Stewart Ryan, Jeff McMahan, Randy Allen, Ricky Eaton, Ricky Parr, Bob Gray, and Brian Webb.
