Deloris Jane Mantooth, of Paoli, passed away June 7, 2025 in Paoli, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years.
Deloris Jane Bailey was born November 30, 1941 in Dill City, Oklahoma to Odis Garland and Winnie Bell Bailey.
She was married to John Calvin Mantooth in Pauls Valley on October 13, 1958. Other than working as a cashier, she worked as a Nurses Aid at Pauls Valley General Hospital. During her younger years, she was busy raising children and taking care of her husband and home. She was a member of the Paoli First Baptist Church.
Deloris was preceded in death by her parents, Odis Garland and Winnie Bell Bailey; 2 sisters, Mary Ann Loveless and Eileen Lambright; a granddaughter, Amber Dawn Mantooth; and 4 brothers, Johnny Bailey, Odis Bailey, Joe Bailey and Donald Gene Bailey.
Her surviving family include: her husband of 67 years, John Calvin Mantooth, of the home; 4 children, Johnny Mantooth and wife, Tammy, Jimmy Mantooth, Jeffrey Mantooth and wife, Susan, all of Paoli and Brenda Stephens and husband, Jimmy, of Ardmore; 10 grandchildren: Shannon and Cody Mantooth, Elizabeth Wood, Austin Stallings, Spencer Mantooth, Kelsey LeMay, Dale Ezell, JD, Jessica and Faith Mantooth; 16 great grandchildren: Taylor, Shyleigh, Hayden, Johnnie Lynn, Amelia, Eamon, Carter, Scarlett, Ellis, Hudson, James, Zachary, Amelia, Raiden, Khavvrin; 1 great-great granddaughter, Motley; and numerous nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 12, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Paoli First Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Richard Newton. Interment will be at Paoli Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home. We invite you to send words of comfort to the family at www.stufflebeanfuneralhome.com.
Pallbearers will be Spencer Mantooth, Dale Ezell, Austin Stallings, Bobby Lambright, Hayden Mantooth, James Garland Bailey.
