Delpha A. “Tillie” Wheeler, 75, passed away on December 28, 2025, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Wheeler was born in Troy, Ohio, and made Fort Pierce her home in 1981, where she built a life. She loved crafting and DIY projects, often creating things with her hands that reflected her artistic heart. One of her greatest joys was walking along the beach, collecting shells and soaking in the beauty of the ocean. A bit of a hippie at heart, Tillie believed there was good in everyone she met.
She is survived by her daughters, Michelle (Larry) Ziegler of Okeechobee, Florida, Marlein (Joe) Arrington of Fort Pierce, Florida, and Melissa Wheeler of Fort Pierce, Florida; her son, Mick Wheeler of Tarpon Springs, Florida; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Tillie was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wheeler, and her brother, Paul Rong.
