Delynn Sue Bolanowski, age 67, of Swartz Creek, passed away on Sunday, April 6, 2025, in Flint, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek and again on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Swartz Creek Community Church, 7400 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 1:00 PM with pastor Dan Bowman officiating.
Born on October 14, 1957, in Flint, the daughter of Robert and Patricia (Edmonds) Wagner, she grew to be a devoted and artistic individual who made significant contributions to those around her. Delynn had a career at GM Delphi, where she dedicated many years of service before her retirement. Her commitment to her work was paralleled only by her strong devotion to her family. A graduate of Ainsworth High School, class of 1975, she furthered her education by obtaining her Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University in 1992, underscoring her passion for learning and growth. Delynn and Vincent were united in marriage on April 12, 1980 in Flint.
Delynn was a member of the Swartz Creek Community Church, where she found joy and fellowship among her peers. She had a talent for crafting and making floral arrangements, which reflected her artistic personality. Delynn treasured her time spent with her grandchildren, relishing the moments spent babysitting and attending their various activities. Delynn Sue Bolanowski leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and dedication that will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She was cherished wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister, Delynn’s family was the center of her world. She is survived by her loving husband, Vincent Bolanowski; her daughter, Katrina (Robert) Veprauskas; her two grandsons, Aiden and Colton Veprauskas; her mother, Patricia Wagner; and her brother, Martin (Lisa) Wagner. Delynn was preceded in death by her son, Brandon Bolanowski; her father, Robert Wagner; and her brother, Robbie Wagner. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
