Guest Book
Demarcus Tramane Micks was born May 8, 1985 in Kansas City, MO to the union of Fred Terrance Lewis and Wanda "WeeWee" Micks. Demarcus was baptized in The Lord’s names when he was 14 years old. He attended “Real Truth Seventh-Day Adventist Church” with his family.
Demarcus attended Shawnee Mission South High School. Demarcus worked at Village Inn as a cook for 12 years. His coworkers became his second family. One thing he loved to do was cook; almost as much as he loved eating. Demarcus was never married or had any children of his own. He was truly a free spirit.
Demarcus loved his niece's and nephew as his own. On Sunday June 23, 2024, Demarcus departed from this world at Saint Luke's Hospice House.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Wanda Micks; maternal grandfather, Theodore Micks; maternal aunt, Sheri Greer; maternal uncle, Theodore Greer Jr; cousin, Darrell Micks; and paternal grandfather, Fred Lee Lewis.
He leaves to cherish his beloved memory, his mother Wanda "WeeWee" Micks of Kansas City, Missouri; his father Fred Terr Lewis of Kansas City, Missouri; his sister Kendra Micks (Isaiah) of Saint Joseph, Missouri; sister Fatima Micks of Little Rock, Arkansas; his be-loved niece's, Addison Micks, and Ariyon Micks of Little Rock, Arkansas, Keva Irons of Saint Joseph, Missouri; beloved nephew Kenzu Irons of Saint Joseph, Missouri; grandmother Ida Cravens-Lewis of Kansas City, Missouri; grandma Michelle Acosta-Delgado Hicks of Kansas City Missouri, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
