Dimi Vassiliou Constantinides
Demetria Vassiliou Constantinides found eternal peace on Friday, January 26, 2024, just 5 days shy of her 52nd birthday. Dimi's life however was truly taken 17 years ago on February 4, 2007. On that tragic day, Dimi went into sudden cardiac arrest because of her undiagnosed Long QT Syndrome, leaving her with a severe anoxic brain injury. She had just celebrated her 35th birthday with her family and friends only days before this tragedy. Her injury left her with no quality of life and only God knows how much she understood and how much she suffered. It was heartbreaking to see Dimi living in that condition, missing out on all life's wonderful events, and not being able to see her beautiful children, Themi and Lia, grow up to become the most amazing young adults.
Dimi left a positive impact on everyone she met. She was gorgeous on the outside but most importantly had a beautiful soul on the inside; a beautiful, amazing, sweet soul, that was always there for everyone. She gave the best advice and genuinely loved with all her heart. Dimi and her twin sister, Lisa, were soul mates. They were inseparable from the womb, and it was rare that they did anything apart. They had the same friends, and everyone knew them as "the twins." When they both got married, their husbands had no choice but to like each other as they would now have to always be together. Dimi and Lisa were best friends as well as each other's strength and support system.
Dimi is survived by her 2 beautiful children, her loving parents, brother, sister, nieces, nephews, family, and friends who all loved her. Though Dimi is gone she will never be forgotten as she will live in our hearts forever. Thank you, God, for this beautiful Angel.
