Demie Lou Olinger age 55 of the Big Hill community, gained her heavenly wings on Aug. 31, 2025 at Bristol Regional Medical Center with her sister by her side. She was of Baptist faith. She loved talking about her heavenly father and listening to gospel music. She enjoyed watching older movies and she was a big fan of the NCIS shows. She enjoyed watching Football and Nascar. Demie had several medical issues and had been sick for many years which kept her from doing what she loved especially Fishing. Her greatest joys was her fur babies Tiny Lou and Bruiser. She loved all her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Betty Clark, Maternal grandparents James and Demie Hess, paternal grandparents Nathan and Eva Clark. one sister Regina Spivey one brother Marvin Clark SR and a niece Autumn Clark And Many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Left to cherish her memories are her sister Barbara (Layton) Scalf and Family, her brother Gene (Crystal) Clark and family. Her adopted grand - daughters Monica and Demi Livesay. Several Nieces and nephews. Her special friends Kathy Livesay (momma Kay) Joe Johnson and Cindy Falin.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 5, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Pennington Gap Funeral Home with the service starting at 7:00 pm with Jack and Matthew Clark officiating the service with Richard Clark singing and a playlist. Family and friends will be the Pallbearers.
A private graveside will be held at Clark Cemetery.
Demie Lou Olinger and her family are in the care of Pennington Gap Funeral Home.
