Demond Norvell Wilkinson
On February 29, 2024, Demond Norvell Wilkinson, 64, of St. Joseph, MO, departed from this earth of natural causes.
Born to and raised by Donald Wilkinson and Delores Wilkinson (Bluford); and he left behind siblings: Donna Kaye Reed (John W. Reed Jr.), Debra Faye Anderson (Preceded in Death), Daphne L. McWilliams, Donald L. Wilkinson Jr., Dietra L. Wilkinson, and DeLisa L. Wilkinson (Keith Brooks). His children: Da'Vitrius Perkins, Demitrius Perkins, Tyisha Perkins, Dontay Perkins, Demond Words, Dominique Finch, De'Vosier Lewis, Deavonni Galloway, and John Blackwell; grandchildren, and a plethora of nieces and nephews.
Where some say he lacks accolades, he is nothing shy of accomplished. A proud man with a tough demeanor, he has brought joy and happiness to all those he's encountered that will be embedded in our hearts forever.
Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, 245 N. 27th Street, Lincoln, NE. Visitation from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024, at Metcalf Funeral Home.

I remember Demond protecting me one time when we were just teenagers. He always showed me love and our friendship was solid. We used to play Acey Deucey and he always wanted to take me fishing but it wasn't my thing. He will be missed! Rest in power, my friend.
