Demple Inez Williams

Demple Inez Williams, age 79, of Higdon, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at her residence.

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Demple will be held at 2:00 PM ET on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at Gib Dock Stephens Cemetery with Mike Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends at the Bryant Chapel of Moore Funeral Home on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM ET.

Demple was born in Trenton, Georgia on August 9, 1945 to the late Rinzy and Azalee Hartline and has resided in the Higdon community of Sand Mountain for many years. She loved to travel, most notably to the Smokey Mountains, where she enjoyed time with her family and friends. She is best known for her funniness and outgoing spirit. For many years, she worked at Shell Mart and enjoyed countless conversations with customers from all over the area. 

In addition to her parents, Demple is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry Williams as well as 10 siblings; Junie, David, Dale, Kenneth, Eddie, Nolan, Jerry, Jimmy, Lamar and Lisa.

Survivors include her son, Dale (Christina) Williams; three sisters, Wilma Massengale, Bertha McBryar and LaMerle Howard and one brother, Clayton Hartline.

 Demple's memory will forever be cherished in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
