Born July 10, 1954, in Cleveland, Denice lived in Concord before moving to Mentor 3 years ago.
Denice was employed by Progressive Insurance for 20 + years in the finance dept.
She was the loving mother of Nicole (Oscar) Gama; cherished grandmother of Milagro Gama; sister of Robert Mahoney, Debbie Johnson, Michael Mahoney, Patrick Mahoney, Ronald Mahoney, Earl Mahoney and Craig Mahoney; and aunt of Christopher Mahoney, Megan McNicoll, Jason Mahoney, Wesley Mahoney, Melinda Mahoney and Kaylin Mahoney.
Denice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Iacano; and parents, Earl J. and Henrietta (Bowes) Mahoney.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 at The Abbey of Willoughby (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home) 38011 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a Prayer Service at 12 p.m. Burial to follow at Mentor Cemetery.
