Denis proudly served our country as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, where he was stationed in Wiesbaden, Germany, from 1951 to 1954 during the Korean Conflict. His commitment to his country laid the foundation for a life rich in purpose and contribution.

He understood the power of engagement and was passionate about ensuring that every voice mattered. His enduring belief in civic duty and community involvement truly shaped the lives of those who knew him.
Denis was not just a remarkable figure in his professional and civic life; he was also known as the sweetest man to know. His warm smile, gentle spirit, and compassionate nature touched everyone around him.
