Denis Fredrick Plankers

Plankers, Denis Fredrick age 84, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024. St. Paul native and resident of Coon Rapids since 1970, Denis retired from the Anoka Hennepin school district as an administrator in 1996 and then served in a variety of volunteer roles during his retirement. Being a devout husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend is what Denis did best and it left an amazing legacy. Some of his favorite times were fishing, hunting, and talking sports with all those he loved. Preceded in death by parents Angela and Roy and grandson Aaron. Survived by wife Judy of 63 years, children Patty, Jim, Tom (Mary), Mike (Tracy), grandchildren Carisa (Brett), Zach, Emily, Nick (Clair), Josh (Lauren), Sarah (Antonio), Rachel (Stephen), Jonathan (Christa), Anna, Caleb, Matthew, and 10 great grandchildren.
