Denise E. Dake

Buffalo, NY - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Denise E. Dake, who entered into rest on April 3, 2025.

Denise was a devoted mother to Jessica and her husband Matthew Brossard, and she held a special place in her heart for her late baby, Jeffrey Appenheimer. As a cherished grandmother, she brought joy to the lives of her beloved grandchildren, Kaylee, Vincent, and Sebastian.

Born to the late Gordon “Skeeter” and Beverly Dake, Denise was a loving sister to Debra and her husband Richard Queer, Gordon L. Dake Jr., Dawn and her husband, the late Tommy Tower. She is survived by her former spouse, Jeffrey Appenheimer Sr., her partner Michael Roma, along with a host of nieces and nephews who will carry forward her memory.

Denise's warmth and kindness touched many lives, and she will be remembered for her affection and the love she shared with her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to honor Denise’s life at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, located at 5090 Transit Rd., Depew, on Wednesday, April 9th from 4 PM to 8 PM. The family will share memories of Denise at 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made through her GoFund Me page.
