Denise Ann Decker (Loerzel)

Denise, age 60, of Lino Lakes, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on November 22, 2025, following a four-year battle with cancer.

Denise was born on March 5, 1965, in Fergus Falls, MN, to Dennis and Pam (Schmid) Loerzel.

The family made their home in Mounds View, MN, where she graduated from Irondale High School in 1983.

In 1998, Denise married the love of her life, Roy Decker. Together they built a warm and loving home and raised their four children. She was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Denise will be remembered for her love of gardening, crafting, shopping, Christmas, hockey, and the time she shared with her family and friends.

Preceded in death by her father, Dennis Loerzel, and her grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Roy; children, Dominic (Kristen), Donna, Donovan, and Donelle (Jake Semler); grandson, Miles; mother, Pam Loerzel; sister, Nicole (Tom) Johnson; nephew, Chase Johnson; and niece, Skyla Johnson.

Though her presence is gone, her spirit and the memories we hold close will remain in our hearts forever. We find comfort knowing she is at peace with the Lord.

Memorial visitation 4:00 – 7:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2 at Mueller-Bies Funeral Home (Lino Lakes), 7050 Lake Drive (County Hwy 23).

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
