Denise Mackey Obituary
Denise was the heartbeat of our family-a woman who remained a child at heart until the very end. She had a lifelong love for the magic of Mickey Mouse, and she brought that same sense of wonder to everything she did. Whether she was humming along to Stevie Nicks, wearing her favorite shade of purple, or yelling at the TV during a (gross!) Minnesota Vikings game, she lived with a spirit that was truly her own.
She leaves behind her husband and best friend, Daniel Mackey, who was her absolute rock. She is also survived by her four daughters, Tonya, Desiree, Sarah, and Laura, as well as her 6 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, and a multitude of extended family. Mom's greatest achievement wasn't a job or a title; it was her family. She loved her children more than anything in this world and was so incredibly proud of them.
In her honor, maybe listen to a little Elton, Janis, or Stevie today, wear some purple, and remember to keep a little bit of that Mickey Mouse magic in your heart
