Billy Wayne Mackey passed away peacefully January 17th, 2026, at the age of 78. He was born to the late Jesse and Dorothy (nee Hinte) Mackey. In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by cherished daughter; Cynthia A. Mercado-Mackey, as well as siblings; Doris (the late Cecil) Sweeney-Mackey and Jackie Lee.
Billy is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Lila (nee Snowden) Mackey.
Devoted father of Thomas (Jamie) Mackey and Willliam (Trinette) Mackey.
Brother to Gary (Pat) Mackey, Jesse (Colleen) Mackey, as well as sister-in-law Betty (the late Jack) Mackey.
Adoring grandfather of Miguel Alexander Mercado-Mackey, Maria del Carmen Mercado, and Alecia Marie Mercado, Alexis Marie (Jacob) Bortolotto, Christian Daniel Mackey, Makayla Nicole Mackey, and Nathaniel William Mackey.
Billy also leaves nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as many dear friends.
Visitation will take place Saturday, January 24th, 2026, from 9:30am until time of Funeral Service at 11:30am, both at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45241. Burial will take place privately at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
