It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Denise Rogers, a cherished Grandma known for her kind, loving, caring, and humorous personality, left us on December 19, 2024 with her family and loved ones by her side in Austin, Texas from a long battle with cancer.

Denise was born on February 6th, 1954 in Greenville,Texas. She married the love of her life Avery Douglas Rogers, married 48 years and had three children. Danny Rogers, Avery Douglas Rogers Jr and Angela Rogers.

In 1978 Denise moved to Bastrop, Texas, within days she started working at the Texas Grill, where she worked for 40+ years. She loved her job and all the amazing people she worked with over the years but more than anything she loved her customers. She loved every single person that came through the doors like they were her family. She knew you by name and she knew you by order. She was very loved by the Texas Grill community and will be very missed.

Denise truly knew that it was more blessed to give than to receive. Her generosity knew no bounds. She had the biggest heart. Denise was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had a beautiful soul who would help anyone. She lived life to the fullest and especially loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved to talk but she was also a wonderful listener.

Although Denise is gone, she will live in our hearts forever.
