Denise Taylor Obituary
She was born April 16, 1957, in Richmond County, daughter of the late Milton Legree King and Margaret Viola King.
Denise was a loving and caring wife, mother, and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were everything to her in her life and she lived life caring for them and watching them prosper with a true mother's heart. Denise worked in previous years in healthcare where she fulfilled her calling as a nurse and caretaker. She will be dearly missed by her family and everyone who knew her.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Michael Franklin Taylor; brother, Kenneth King; and beloved grandson, Nathaniel Taylor.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving children, Erica Taylor (Marty Stewart) of Rockingham, Michael Taylor (Angelina) of Cordova, and Steven Taylor of Hamlet; grandchildren, Jessica Canter Coulthard (Chase), Gavin Taylor, Charlee Taylor, Kennidy Taylor, and Emily Hayes; and her best friend, Rosa Hughes.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 30, 2025, from 5:00pm-6:00pm at Harrington Funeral Home, Hamlet.
The funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 6:00pm, in the chapel of Harrington Funeral Home with Rev. Butch Park officiating. Burial will be held private.
Memorials may be made to: Richmond County Hospice, 1119 N. US Hwy. 1, Rockingham, NC 28379.
