Mr. Dennie Riley, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and respected veteran was born on February 10, 1930, to Eugene Riley and Carrie Dunbar Riley Kirkland in Allendale, SC. In 1967, he was ordained a deacon at Thankful Baptist Church in Savannah, GA and was later appointed a deacon at Mt. Moriah Baptist in Camden, SC. No matter where he served, his actions exemplified his deep commitment to his Christian faith.

His hobbies included gardening and woodworking.

Above all, Dennie was a devoted family man. His 73-year marriage to his beloved wife, Flossie, was a testament to their enduring love, creating a home filled with laughter, love, and countless cherished memories.
