Sue was a lifelong member of Cool Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Parson A. Stone, Jr.; parents, Olen and Rosa Tankersley; siblings, Goldie Ruffino, Hazel Fleming, Helen Lance, Inez Miller, Modenia Bridges, Bradley Tankersley, and Harvey Tankersley.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Susan Stone of Chatsworth; daughter and son-in-law, Shalina Stone and Michael Sanford of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Shane Stone, Colby Cochran, Garrison Cochran, and Gracie Cochran; great-grandchildren, Lex Stone and Josilyn Stone; special and loving niece, Ann Tant; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, George and Laurie Stone, Vickie Jones, Kaleen and Curtis Belcher, Judy Tye, and David Stone; extended family also survives.
Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Dennie Sue Stone will be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Cool Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Sean Belcher and Rev. Josh Parker officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and on Sunday, November 16, 2025 from 10:30 am until 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cool Springs Baptist Church.
Peeples Funeral Home & Crematory of Chatsworth has been entrusted with the arrangements for Mrs. Dennie Sue Stone.
