Cremation Society of New Hampshire - ManchesterWe are sad to announce the passing of our dear sister, friend, Pamela Jane (Alward) Stone. Pam passed away November 14, 2025, in Merrimack, NH, after a brief illness. She was 72 years old.
Born on March 1, 1953, in Manchester, NH. Pam spent her early years in her hometown of Manchester, NH. She attended Straw School, Manchester Central High School and Mount Saint Mary’s College where she studied History. Pam worked many years in Banking and the Mortgage Industry. Pam relocated for her work to Columbia, South Carolina. She loved to travel and would later live in Saudi Arabia for a number of years. She ended her career working for the Florida State Lottery. In her retirement she enjoyed spending time with family and friends and doting on her beloved rescued cats and dogs.
Pam was the 6th of eight children of Bertram and Loretta (Brown) Alward.
She is Lovingly remembered by her sisters June (Alward) Edwards, Monica Alward, Katherine (Alward) Gosselin, brothers in law Joseph Gosselin, Ed Richards and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by sister Ann (Alward) Richards, and brothers John Alward, Peter Alward and Charles Alward.
Assisting the family with arrangements is the Cremation Society of NH, Manchester. A Memorial Gathering will be held on November 29, 2025, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, Manchester, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the ASPCA or your local Animal Rescue.
