Dennis C. Applegate

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dennis C. Applegate. Born on October 30, 1954, in Louisville, Kentucky. Dennis peacefully departed this life on March 8, 2024, in his sleep around noon in Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 69, succumbing to natural causes.
Dennis was a captivating storyteller, regaling his loved ones and friends with the most memorable stories. He found solace in sharing a "hooter" among cherished friends and Kung Fu students who quickly became family, while enjoying the best tunes. Dennis's creative spirit and spunk for life brought joy and lots of laughs to all who were fortunate enough to know him.
Dennis, fondly dubbed the "most interesting man" by those fortunate enough to cross paths with him, lived a life marked by remarkable accomplishments. Dennis wore many hats. Dennis's legacy is marked not only by his dedicated service with Metropolitan International "Nasty Boys" Special Operations unit as a respected law enforcer but also by his adventurous spirit, which led to memorable moments like the legendary occasion when he playfully tossed 5lbs. of C4 into Tony's lap at his expense, simply for a hearty laugh. Alongside these daring exploits, Dennis cherished his roles as a devoted husband and loving father, embodying unwavering loyalty and commitment and love in all facets of his life. His legacy of bravery, humor, and devotion will continue to inspire all who were touched by his remarkable presence.
