Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors Suburban North - SouthamptonDennis M. Baker Sr., passed away peacefully at his home on September 25, 2025 surrounded by his family. Born in Philadelphia to Catherine (nee Walsh) and Norman Baker. Dennis proudly served the City of Philadelphia as a police officer for nearly 25 years. Starting in the 26th district, moving to the 7th, Civil Affairs, and finally the 8th, until his retirement. Retirement was spent doing what he loved most- tinkering with cars and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. Husband of Eileen (nee Goldstein); his children Susan (Mark) Wildsmith, Jennifer (Craig) Keil, Dennis (Julie) Baker Jr., Lauren (John) Burtell, Michael (Cheryl) Baker. Brother of Patrick (the late Barbara) Baker. Grandfather of Mark Jr. (Kristina), Ryan (Sara), Adam (Leanna), Emily, Delaney, McKenna (Greg), Jaidyn, Rylie, Bricelyn, Keira, Ian, Michael Jr., Autumn, Wyatt, and Jacob; great-grandfather of Luke and Jaxson. Relatives and friends are invited to funeral services on Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Goldsteins’ Rosenberg’s Funeral Directors Suburban North 310 2nd Street Pike, Southampton PA 18966 at 3:30pm precisely. Contributions in his memory may be made to All 4 Paws Rescue, P.O. Box 122 Chester Springs, PA 19425, www.all4pawsrescue.com, as Dennis always had a dog by his side, especially Dobermans.
