Dennis Ray "Denny" Bromwell

Mr. Dennis Ray Bromwell entered this life on September 18, 1958, in Valparaiso, Indiana, the son of Roy Emmitt & Mary Charlene Chowning Bromwell, both of whom survive. He passed from this life suddenly on Saturday, June 26, 2004, at 6:05 pm, at 1058 State Road 56, Vevay, Indiana, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Mr. Bromwell was raised in Chesterton, Indiana, and attended school there. He had resided the past fourteen years in the Switzerland County Community of Pleasant & Bennington. He was employed as a construction worker, building barns for several years until he became disabled in 1990. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time and enjoyed riding his motorcycle when ever possible.
Mr. Bromwell will be sadly missed by his devoted companion of the past fourteen years: Sara A. Smith of Sunman, Indiana; his daughter: Melissa Johnson Rigas; his loving parents: Roy Emmitt & Mary Charlene Chowing Bromwell of Bennington, Indiana; his loving step children: Tracy Smith of Versailles, Indiana; James Smith of East Enterprise, Indiana; his step grandchildren: Steven Ray McKeoun & Charles Smith; his loving sisters: Royena Marie Botkins & Unita Moore Both of Bennington, Indiana; Teresa Bromwell of Carrollton, Kentucky; Brenda Bromwell of Jacksonville, Florida; his brother: Roy Delbert “Bud” Bromwell of Marion County, Ohio; several nieces, nephews & other relatives. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: William & Louise O’Connor Bromwell; Delbert & Cecile Sullivan Chowning.
