Dennis Dale Cain

Dennis Dale Cain was born on June 17, 1950, in Thomas, Oklahoma, to Lola Bernice (Burton) Cain. He passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, in Wynnewood, Oklahoma. He and Linda Sue Eskew were married on August 15, 1969, in Watonga, Oklahoma.

Dennis spent 40 years as an educator and coach at various schools in Oklahoma, retiring as the elementary principal for Wynnewood in 2015. In his retirement, Dennis enjoyed starting events at track meets and spent his Friday nights announcing Wynnewood High School football ball games. Nothing brought Dennis more joy than spending time with his family and conversations with friends about times past.

He was preceded in death by his mother; wife, Linda; and son, Chris Cain.

Survivors include his son, Derek and wife Kati of Springer, Oklahoma; grandsons Kyler and Davis Cain of Springer, Oklahoma; brother Ray Cain and wife Earlene of Piedmont, Oklahoma; nephew Brian Cain of Edmond, Oklahoma; niece Michele Ward of Piedmont, Oklahoma; sister-in-law Carolyn Hamburger of Weatherford, Oklahoma; nephews James Hamburger and family of Vancouver, Washington and Monty Hamburger and family of Rockwall, Texas; niece Ranae Thiessen and family of Cordell, Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 11 AM at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of the DeArman Funeral Home.
